These stools are OK. Assembly was quick, straightforward and relatively easy. The underside of one stool took some elbow grease. Screw holes for attaching the square base were covered by the seat fabric/didnt match up. Remedied this with the use of an ice pick.
The back of one of the white stools had a very large blob/discoloration from dark purple packaging paper. Not the best packaging. Maybe warehoused in humid conditions with ‘bleeding’ packing paper. The other stool was protected in a plastic bag. The blemish won’t come out with a soft white cloth, wet and a small drop of trusted blue dish detergent. There are two very visible dents on one stool, on the round shiny base that sits on the floor. I like the smaller floor footprint of these stools. I am 132 pounds but the chair bases do not feel completely stable to me. After a few months use, one stool just hit the “elevator down” button on its own. I’m not completely convinced these stools will last very long. I can not in good conscience recommend this product. I received these stools in order to provide an honest review, they were not purchased and returns for this program, it is my understanding, are not possible.
