The fence itself is sturdy, looks like it will weather well, and the two gates are a real plus if you go in and out of your pet(s)’ fenced area frequently. I appreciated how well the fence was packed. It was also easy to setup with no tools required (except a knife to cut the cable ties binding the fence segments for shipping. This gets 5-stars.
I used the second gate and two of the segments to create a vestibule-like situation to prevent our pet from wandering out by having at least one gate closed at all times. Note: I’m using this with an older fence to create a larger area.
I do have a couple of suggestions to improve the fence, however.
1. The gate latch is very small and doesn’t have anything to easily grab on to it. I will build something to deal with this soon.
2. The gate latch does not “catch” 100% of the time because of its small size. I plan to figure out a way to add something to the latch to ensure a 100% closure
3. The ease of setup (drop vertical poles through the metal loops to connect two fence segments is also a potential issue if you plan to have the fence setup outdoors permanently. The fence could be disassembled in a few minutes and disappear. It would be nice to have some kind of simple bolting mechanism to slow down this potential issue.
4. The gate’s base is a step-over mini-fence a few inches high. Because it is painted black, it is hard to see in dim light and it became a tripping hazard. I spray painted the top of the base mini-fence fluorescent green to make it easier to see and less of a hazard.Overall though, I’m looking forward to years of use of this pet fence.

This pet pin is a great way to let smaller critters roam inside. It can be used with any number of panels. You could technically use just 3 if you wanted, but I’d recommend 4+ at a time. The wiring is spot-tacked very well and doesn’t feel like it would easily pop loose. However, it is also flexible, which indicates they’re a little longer than they should be. One panel had the wiring bowed outwards because of this. Do be careful when assembling, as the panels only line up in one direction. One side has the hinges spaced further apart so that the opposite side of the adjacent panel will have its hinges sit between them. The rods line up perfectly fine without a lot of wobble room too and while not being too snug. My only complaint is that they go to a spike at the bottom, but the rods are open. The spike implies they’re intended to be stuck into the ground, but the rod being open at the bottom means dirt will get built up inside it.
